Caerus invests in organizations that strengthen Chicago’s neighborhoods. Concentrating its grantmaking on the South and West sides of Chicago, the Foundation supports programs in the areas of affordable housing, financial empowerment, healthy living, and animal welfare.

Improving economic mobility in low-income communities by increasing access to high-quality affordable housing and financial wellness programs that help families reach financial security.
Healthy Living
Addressing health disparities by equipping youth with the skills to make healthy decisions, and supporting programs that promote social and emotional well-being, physical fitness, and balanced nutrition.
Animal Welfare
Supporting animal welfare organizations working to provide low-cost clinical services, spaying/neutering, and adoptions. Community outreach includes distributing pet food and medications, as well as promoting responsible animal care.
